Indian Actor Om Puri Dies - 1950-2017

The veteran star suffered a cardiac arrest at his home in Mumbai earlier on Friday. He was 66. Puri had successful careers in both Bollywood and the West with films like 'East is East', 'Gandhi' and 'The Hundred Foot Journey'. Tributes are pouring in for the actor.

Puri was hailed for his ability to switch seamlessly between art house, Bollywood, Hollywood and British film. He came from a modest background in Punjab. RIP Om Puri 1950-2017.
