Reversed Aging Shown In Mice

Reversed Aging

Aging may soon be reversible. Genes normally expressed in an embryonic state have been shown to reverse the hallmarks of old age prompting human skin cells to look and act young again.

The approach rejuvenated mice with a premature aging disease countering signs of aging and increasing lifespan by 30%. This showed that aging has plasticity and with careful modulation, might be reversed.
