One Second Robot Rubik's Cube

infineon microchip Rubik's Cube

Watch this robot solve a Rubik's Cube in under one second. 6 motor controlled arms quickly respond to commands from an infineon microchip. The robot, Sub1 Reloaded, shattered the human record of 4.9 seconds.

Infineon chips helped breaking the current Rubik's Cube machine world record of 0.89 seconds - the new world record set by Sub1 high performance robot counts 0.637 seconds. As the process went on very fast and was thus hard to catch by the human eye, here is a slow motion video showing you in detail how we broke the record.
