Indian Oil Corp Plans To Double Its Refineries

IOC chairman B. Ashok said the company wants to double its refining capacity to 150 MT by 2030 to meet the energy needs of India. Currently the company is producing  80.7 million tonnes of fuel per annum. but keeping in view of rising demand for petroleum products the company wants to increase its capacity to 110 MT per annum by the year 2022 and progressively scale it up to at least 150 MT by the year 2030.
