Series Of Blasts Hit Thai Tourist Resorts

Blasts Hit Thai Tourist Resorts

Thai tourists resorts hit by series of blasts. At least 2 people have been killed and dozens injured. Twin blasts hit a resort 125 miles (200 km) south of Bangkok on Friday. Earlier, 2 small bombs exploded in the beach town of Patong and another 2 bombs hit Phang Nga.

Police believe the blasts were acts of 'local sabotage' and aren't linked to international militants. They also said the blasts weren't coordinated or linked to an insurgency in Muslim-majority province in southern Thailand.
