Mass Kidnapping In Mexico

Armed men abduct several suspected gang members from a restaurant in the heart of Mexico's Pacific tourist resort. They're believed to be part of the Sinaloa cartel, one of Mexico's most feared drug smuggling gangs.

Jalisco Governor Jorge Aristoteles said that "They (investigators) are looking over cameras and carrying out an inquiry to find those responsible. We are also coordinating with the federal government, with the municipal government. This is something that we can't allow or tolerate, we are following it up."

Puerto Vallarta is a top holiday destination for tourists but the region is also home to the Jalisco New Generation cartel which has become one of the country's most powerful drug gangs in recent years.
