An Ancient Greek Cemetery

Archaeologists have uncovered a mass grave with at least 80 skeletons in Athens, Greece. They're believed to be victims of a mass execution but their identity and how they got here is a mystery. Experts say whatever happened was violent.

Head Of Excavations Dr. Stella Chrysoulaki said that "They are all tied at the hands with handcuffs and most of them are very, very young, and in a very good state of health when they were executed."

But anthropologists say the orderly way they've been buried suggests they were not just slaves or common criminals. Experts hope DNA testing will uncover how the rows of people died. The cemetery dates from between the 8th and 5th century BC.
