Scientists Turn CO2 Into Solid

Scientists turn CO2 to solid in a matter of months by pumping it deep underground. Could this be the answer to our greenhouse gas emission problem?

CO2 emissions global warming

CO2 emissions continue to rise and contribute to global warming. Top 10 emitters of CO2 contribute to 68.2% of total emissions. Conversions and storing of atmospheric CO2 was one way how scientists wanted to reduce CO2 emissions. There has been a breakthrough on that front.

Scientists in Iceland have found a way to store CO2 in solid form by storing it deep underground. They did this by mixing CO emissions with water and pumping it underground into volcanic basalt rock. Could this be the answer for countries to reverse global warming?
