Professional tennis player Maria Sharapova slapped with 2 years ban after testing positive for banned drug meldonium. She's now disqualified from her quarter final result in the Australian open this year. The 5 times grand slam champion admitted taking the drug. She said "I did fail the test and i take full responsibility for it." The drug was recently added to the World's Anti-Doping Agency's list of banned substances.

Sharapova is the world's highest paid female athlete. her off court earnings are around $200 million, according to Forbes. But brands such as TAG Heuer and Nike have distanced themselves since her admission.
