Sale of two wheelers have decreased and four wheelers increased in Andhra Pradesh, as compared to all India level. This came as a surprise to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, but he was quick to express his happiness by way of official response.

Within the state, compared to the previous year, the sale of both two wheelers and four wheelers increased. The Chief Minister held a review meeting on Thursday on the revenue earnings of the state. Transport officials gave him a power point presentation on the performance of the transport department.

They pointed out that at all India level the growth rate of two wheelers was 15.29 per cent up to May this year. In AP, it was only 9.77 per cent. At the same time, the growth rate of four wheelers at all India level was of 8.65 per cent while in AP it was about 14.32 per cent.
