Turkey's President Wants Muslims To Have More Children

Turkey's President Tayyip Erdogan wants Muslims to have more children. he says Muslim families shouldn't engage in birth control. Speaking the media he said "I am saying clearly, we will multiply our descendants, we will increase our generations. They talk about population planning, birth control. No muslim family can have such approach.We will follow the path and advice of God and our beloved prophet."

Erdogan is a devout Muslim, he has previously equated birth control with treason. His comments have drawn criticism from women's groups and some opposition politicians. Turkey is a mostly muslim country and has a population of around 75 million people.
