About 250 miles off the Oregon Coast, and three-quarters of a mile underwater, sits the Axial Seamount. It is probably one of the most active and most studied undersea volcanoes on the planet.
The scientists are expecting that this active Axial Volcano will explode sometime in 2015. Since this eruption has started the people around this area has experienced thousands of tiny earthquakes. According to the Seattle Times reports sensors recorded 8,000 small earthquakes in a 24-hour period.
