Nepal Is Prone To Quakes

It is not for the first time that Nepal is facing big quakes. Over 80 years prior to Tuesday’s quake, eastern Nepal had an 8.1 temblor in 1934. Around 10,700 people were killed in Nepal and neighboring India. On April 25, a 7.9 earthquake struck kathmandu, killing more than 8,000 people. The Nepalese government has acknowledged that it was overwhelmed by the scale of the disaster which destroyed nearly 3,00,000 homes.
