On 13th December 2013 Google Acquired engineering and robotics design company Boston Dynamics Which will be managed by Andy Rubin. Boston Dynamics specially builds robots for US Army. The company is famous for developing BigDog Robot created in 2005.
They also develop other robots like LS3, Atlas, Petman, Cheetah, SandFlea, RHhex, RiSE and LittleDog. For more information about these robots you find on there website www.bostondynamics.com.
