Sun's magnetic field will flip every 11 years according to NASA officials. 2013 is the 11th year for the sun to reverse its magnetic field from north pole to south pole and vise versa. Within 3 to 4 months this change will take place.
Now the big question is how will it affect our Earth's climate? NASA scientists says that this change will have ripple effects throughout the solar system. They also said that the north pole and south pole started shifting.
Scientist's says that this shift could create sun spots and which may lead to more solar storms. This will also affect Earth's incoming cosmic rays.
