Seismic Pipes Can Survive An Earthquake

Bionax SR Seismic Water Pipe

This water pipe can survive an earthquake, the Bionax SR Seismic Water Pipe is designed by IPEX. It's made of molecularly oriented polyvinyl chloride or PVCO which can withstand almost 2x more pressure than standard PVC. PVCO pipes can flex and bend a significant degree even under high water pressure.

The Bionax SR is designed with even more resistant features. It's fabricated with an extended bell head that allows the pipes to shrink and grow in length to match the shifting ground. Water infrastructure is seen as the greatest vulnerability from earthquake in California. Los Angeles recently launched a $15 Billion operation to replace their water infrastructure. They'll be using seismic pipes to do so
