Denmark Based Danfoss Plans Expansion In AP

The huge business potential in seafood and food processing industry has prompted Denmark-based company, Danfoss, manufacturing drives and refrigeration applications for a wide-range of industries to expand its bases in Andhra Pradesh in view of the growth in the seafood and agro-processing industry in the state. The company which has been operating in Visakhapatnam provides energy-efficient operational solutions to the cold chains.

AP is top-ranked in marine exports in the country which contributes more than 70 per cent of the country's total marine exports and is one of the leading states in horticulture produce. The focus of the government on horticulture and agro-processing also encourages us to come up with innovative operational solutions," said Mr Ravichandran of Danfoss India during a meeting.
