The new James Webb telescope will help us find life outside our solar system. James Webb Telescope's mirrors are as big as a tennis court. It uses infrared light to "See Through" cosmic bodies into unknown regions of the universe. It will sit in orbit 100,000 miles above earth creating images of impossible clarity.

James Webb will tell us which planets have oxygen rich atmospheres in systems like Trappist-1. it will show us how the universe's earliest galaxies formed and evolved. It will even help us comprehend dark energy and dark matter.

In short, James Webb will usher in a new age of space exploration. The telescope will launch in October 2018 aboard an Ariane 5 Rocket.
