Huracan Performante

Huracan Performante

Although Lamborghini has always made cars, which are fast and dramatic; they have never been known to make cars for keen drivers. This has changed however with the new Huracan Performante. Launched at the Geneva Motor Show, the new Lambo has changes in the active aerodynamic system.

Up front, the system is driven by an electric motor, while the rear deck houses an air duct to the new rear wing and its massive supports. With the system turned off, the flaps inside the front splitter tray stay closed for maximum downforce at high speeds and under heavy braking.

Power still comes from a 5.0-litre V10 in the Performante, but Lambo has freed up another 38hp over the standard car for peak power of 640 hp and peak torque of 600Nm. Zero to 100 kmph just takes 2.9 seconds with a top speed of 325 kmph.
