3D Printed Houses Will Be The Next Big Thing

According to the company Apis Cor, the body of this 409 sq ft house was built in 24 hours by a 3D printer in Russia. All the other installation and furnishing continued for one month. but this 3D printed house isn't one of a kind.

A 3D printed castle was built in Minnesota in 2014. A special 3D printer was designed for this project. In 2015, Oak Ridge national Laboratory printed a mobile home and the house shares energy with a 3D printed car.

The 3D printed home industry is growing worldwide. In 2016, three big printed projects finished in China. Dutch architects are also trying to print a whole building using a newly designed machine called Kamermaker. The project might finish this year. The next house you move into could be printed.
