Electric Buses In India Charges In 15 Seconds

India might soon see fully electric busses plying its streets. A swiss company has proposed a plan for Indian buses to go electric and use zero fuel. These buses will be powered with batteries rather than fuel. 'Flash Recharge' bus stops will recharge the batteries within 15 seconds.

Though it sounds impossible, a pilot project in switzerland has successfully tested this technology and has even been given the green signal to design these buses and bus stops by the country's government. Now, the Organisations Indian Wing has requested and received the go ahead from the Indian union government to conduct a pilot project. This will reduce dependency on crude oil and will save over 1,000 tonnes of co2 emissions per year. Leaving behind green tracks.
