Detailed 3D Scanner - Botscan

Botscan 3D Scanner

This walk-in scanner takes a complete 3D scan of your body in the blink of an eye. Botscan makes use of 70 DSLR cameras to scan your body 30 times in 0.01 seconds. With 16.7 million possible colors, it can detect every visible feature on your body. To convert the data into a model, Botscan uses a process called photogrammetry. It reconstructs objects by connecting points captured by the camera at different angles.

Resulting models are near perfect replicas of any objects from the size of insects to cars. The remarkable detail makes it practical for architects, designers, and even doctors. Botscan is far from a consumer device, with a price range around $90,000 to $145,000.
