3D Printed Body For Honda Electric Car

3D Printed Body For Honda Electric Car

Honda shows off a custom, 3D-printed body for its tiny electric car. With this move, Honda is taking its car customisation to the next level. The carmaker showed off the concept at this year's CEATEC in Japan, on its so-called Micro Commuter electric car with a body that's been constructed using additive manufacturing. This is just an example of many that Honda is showing as conceptual ways in taking advantage of the flexible platform offered by the Micro Commuter. The car has a maximum range of 80 kilometres and is fuelled by three separate battery packs built into the floor and under the seats. The batteries are removable and can be charged at home.
