Plastic Bottle Village

This man is cleaning up beaches in Panama to build a plastic bottle village. When Robert Bezeau moved to Panama in 2009. He noticed the beaches loaded with plastic bottles, so he decided to recycle more than a million of them as building material for houses in a plastic bottles village.

Plastic Bottle Village

It will be an eco residential community in Bocas Del Toro with 120 homes, each containing about 20,000 bottles. The bottles are stuffed into a wire cage, reinforced with steel rebar and covered with concrete. The bottles keep the house insulated, and also make it earthquake and flood safe!

By 2050, there could be more plastic than fish in the sea. We are "changing the world, without changing the Earth, one home at a time."
