The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet also decided that the AP Assembly should support the Constitutional amendment Bill to enable the GST during the session. The cabinet decided to introduce the Bill related to
reduction of VAT from 14.5 per cent to 5 per cent in three-star and five-star hotels, and on mobile phones.

The Cabinet decided to introduce the amended land registration Bill. If this passed, there will be no second registration on a single property The Cabinet has also decided to introduce the Bill related to affiliation of private agricultural colleges to Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University

The Cabinet has decided to hand over 7,214 acres of land to APIIC in Palakolan and 10 villages under Orvakallu mandal of Kurnool district, to set up industrial hubs.

Another 0.94 acres of land in Andalapalli of Achyutapuram mandal of  Visakhapatnam district has been allotted to AP Tourism, to develop tourism facilities The Cabinet has decided to allot 1.9 acres of land at Paradesipalem in Visakha rural mandal to APTransco to set up 133 KV sub-station.

The Cabinet decided to allot 61.63 acres to APIIC for expansion of SEZ in Achy utapuram mandal of Visakhapatnam district
