World's Longest Aircraft Airlander 10 Launches

Worlds Longest Aircraft Airlander 10

The world's longest aircraft has completed its first test flight. Airlander 10 spans a massive 91 m (299 ft) and stands 26 m (85 ft) high. The zeppelin can carry 48 passengers for up to 5 days. It's filled with helium to make it lighter than air. Nicknamed the flying bum, it conducted its first test flight out of the UK this month. Hybrid Air Vehicles plans to build 12 flying bums by 2018.
