Low Pollution Fire

Low Pollution Fire

This spinning blue fire could help save the planet. The "blue whirl" spirals on top of water and would be ideal for cleaning up oil spills because it could burn up the oil without creating dangerous gases or soot. Scientists at the University of Maryland created the "blue whirl" by first creating fire on the surface of a pool of water which then turns into a fire tornado and then transforms into a blue whirl. it could also revolutionize the way we burn fuel. The rotating flame produces the same energy as a regular fire but creates less pollution.
