Tornado Kills More Than 100 In China

This massive Tornado struck China on June 23. The Tornado struck just outside of the city of Yangcheng about 500 miles south of Beijing. Winds reportedly reached about 78 miles per hour, while a huge hail storm inflicted massive amounts of damage. The Tornado injured about 800 people and killed more than 100. Rescue efforts were made difficult due to rain. This twister was one of China's most extreme weather events in years. The disaster has been declared a national level emergency.
