Riverbank Collapse In Italy

Riverbank Collapse In Italy

A spectacular road collapse in Italy. A section of the embankment of the River Arno in central Florence collapsed on Wednesday.  Sending a part of 650ft (200m) road and at least 20 parked cars into a newly formed ditch. The road gave way after a major pipeline below it burst. The street leads up to the famed Medieval Ponte Vecchio bridge.
