Space Debris To Fall Near Sri Lanka

A mysterious space body, which lands on earth in November, on Friday the 13th, will fall in the Indian Ocean, just off the coast of Sri Lanka.

Damage Threat

No there will be no damage or impact on Earth. A significant fraction of the comet is expected to burn completely in earth's atmosphere itself. WT1190F will hit earth about 65 miles away from the Sri Lanka's southern tip into the Indian Ocean, European Space Agency experts said. WT1190F is considered as an unidentified flying object (UFO) because its main body has not yet been located. The body is 3 to 6 feet long. It is hollow and usually the kind of pieces used in satellites.

Space Debris

The catalina sky survey, which scans the space for approaching comets and asteroids, said WT1190F could be spiraling while hitting the earth.
